Introducing London Butterflies

The team at TLBG love hearing all about new beauty brands – and especially sharing our favourites with you.

This week we want to tell you about a wonderful new British brand; London Butterflies. For those of you subscribing to Birchbox, you’ll have been treated to one of their skin care or body care products in February’s box - so you’ll know exactly why this brand is something worth talking about!

London Butterflies was created to offer women who are confident in their skin a range of ‘premium luxury yet affordable’ beauty body care products that are chic, luxurious and beautifully elegant. 

We adore London Butterflies range as it’s made using only naturally active British ingredients that are all blended with gorgeously delicate fragrances. When you try them you feel and smell wonderful – we’re also huge fans of the pretty packaging! The products offer quintessential luxury – packed into a jar. 

The brand was set up by Lubna Ahmad - an ex-city executive who decided to retrain and make her own range of bespoke handmade beauty products including body butters, facial creams and gorgeous homemade soaps. It’s clear to see that Lubna has a real talent for blending and creating wonderful delicate fragrances, which is why this lovely new range is fast becoming a favourite. Lubna named the brand after her home, London – and Butterflies as they are well-known for their attraction to beautiful fragrances.

We’re big fans of British skincare at TLBG HQ, and London Butterflies has been awarded the coveted ‘Made in Britain’ marque. Lubna created the brand with a clear “focus on using only naturally active ingredients found here in the UK that could be locally sourced - also keeping London Butterflies products carbon footprint low”.
