Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge for Lips and Cheeks - £19.00 [BUY HERE]
What They Say:
Bobbi's best-selling, multitasking cream colour for lips and
cheeks comes in a mirrored flip-top compact for on-the-spot application.
You get two products in one. Blend it on the apples of your
cheeks for a just-pinched look, or blot it on your lips for a soft, stained
finish. For drier skin types, be sure to moisturise skin first.
What We Say:
Dewy skin is definitely a key look for Summer 2015. So, in search for that cheeky glow, we've been testing out lots of different cream blushes and decided this one was pretty darn good.
It comes in a great range of colours, from Fresh Melon to Uber Beige and in a nifty little compact with a mirror in the lid. It's a fab size for on the go and with its dual usage for lips and cheeks, it also helps to cut down on your handbag clutter.
You can dab (with your fingers) or sweep (with a brush) on the product to achieve your perfect balance of colour and glow. We were head-over-heels for the Pot Rouge when used as a cheek tint. It gave a subtle hue of dewy blush to our cheeks - which you could easily build upon to achieve a stronger look.
Fingers were our tool of choice, and we found the product blended beautifully to give a really natural (colour and amount dependant) appearance.
We did use this product for our lips too, it's just like a good tinted balm. It adds shine and moisture, a touch of colour but nothing overtly dramatic.
It wore well on the face, and lasted the majority of the working day. On the lips, it lasted until we'd had our second cup of morning coffee.
In A Nutshell:
This is the perfect summer accessory. It's lightweight on the skin and lightweight in your handbag too.
If you're after the dewy look, this will compliment your complexion wonderfully.
