The nights are starting to draw in, the weather's getting colder and we're already fantasising about gingerbread lattes and wearing
We all know that the easiest way to freshen up your look for the new season is with a lippie or nail polish. It won't break the bank, and let's be honest, we're happy with any excuse for a new purchase.
We'll look at lipsticks in a future edit, but for now it's all about the nails! Preparation is key if you want a flawless finish from your polish, and it's vital to keep on top of dry skin and dehydrated cuticles as the temperature drops.
Colourwise, we're still loving short nude nails with a hint of soft colour. Nude hues offer up a timeless look, they go with every outfit and keep you bang on trend. There's really no downside as far as we're concerned and on reviewing the AW15 catwalks, many of the top designers agree. Berry and plum shades are also big news (has there ever been a winter season that we haven't reached for deep red shades?) - they're extremely wearable statement colours; with that added bit of sex appeal.
Nudes and berries are the biggies for us, but the range of colours and mini-trends is so diverse that we've added a few polishes that don't fall into our main categories too - a couple of gorgeous greens, a dreamy blue and a bit of sparkle for good measure. You're going to want them all, we're sure of it.
