We've been taking a peek inside the lovely Paula Bowron's make-up bag this week on TLBG, the beautiful face behind one of our favourite blogs PinkBow.
Here's what's inside Paula's make-up bag...
Hello, I'm Paula and I run the blog PinkBow. It’s my small place on the web to document the beauty of everyday life which I show through photographs I take of things in my life I find inspirational. My main interests are style, beauty, food and travel, so I am very happy to share with you today the contents of my make-up bag.
My make-up bag is the Louis Vuitton GM Cosmetic Pouch in the
Damier print. It is a very decent size which does easily fit all of these
things inside. It has two pockets inside and is washable (imperative for
make-up!). This is not all of my make-up but just the things I carry around
with me on a daily basis.
1. Tarte Cheek Stain in Flush - I absolutely adore this, it
gives the most perfect natural flush to the cheeks.
2. Boots Pill Box with Herbal Supplements (Agnus Castus,
Iron & Evening Primrose Oil). I carry this around with me to try to help me
remember to take them.
3. RMS Living Luminizer - not my favourite highlighter but a
handy size to travel around with.
4. Pill Box with Migraleve tablets (I suffer from migraines
a lot!)
5. Bath & Bodyworks Pocket Hand Sanitiser in Warm
Vanilla Sugar
6. MAC Liquidlast Liner in Point Black - having tried so
many eyeliners over the years I have finally found one that I am not allergic
too. And this stays put all day but is very difficult to remove!
7. Chanel Mini Volume Mascara - a GWP, very handy to carry
around.
8. M&S Mini Dental Floss
9. L'Occitane Mini Hand Cream in Vanilla Bouquet (from a My
Little Box) - the cutest size and most gorgeous fragrance.
10. Muji Box with COS gold Kirby Grips & a Silver
Toothpick
11. Aromatherapy Associates Instant Inner Strength
Rollerball - for when I need a calming pic-me-up through the day, perfect to
roll across my pulse points.
12. Soap & Glory The Archery Eyebrow Pencil in Hot
Chocolate - I love the fine point to this and it is a great ashy brown colour.
13. YSL Touche Eclat in 1 in Limited Edition - love the
limited edition packaging YSL create on these.
14. Nuxe Reve de Miel stick - the best ever lip balm, in a
lighter package than the usual glass jar.
15. MAC Cremesheen Lipstick in Pure Zen - a perfect peachy
nude shade.
16. Dior Lipstick in 005 Daring Shock - I love the packaging
on these lipsticks, this is my third. This one was a limited edition buy from
Duty Free and is actually a lipstick split into two colours.
17. Compeed Blister Plasters - cannot live without these!
18. Wooden Comb - anyone with a fringe knows that leaving
for the day without a comb is bad news.
19. Boscia Blotting Sheets - sometimes I don't want to add
more make-up on top of an oil t-zone, so blotting papers are the perfect way of
reducing oil. My skin doesn't get that oily but they are handy to have anyway.
20. Laura Mercier Smooth Finish Foundation Powder in 02 -
not my favourite touch up powder, I think I will try something new when this
runs out. But I always like a powder compact with me of some description; good
packaging is the main draw for me.
