Laura's Top 5 Drugstore Buys

We've got a special guest post to share with you today on TLBG. Beauty blogger Laura from Lanky Laura's Way has given us her top drugstore buys. With prices starting from just £3.00, they're the perfect treats for beauty on a budget...

I absolutely love drugstore makeup and having affordable yet excellent quality products is always a great thing in my books. In fact, some of the best products that I have tried have come straight from the drugstore and of course my top 5 are too.

Today I’m going to share with you my must-have products that I just don’t think I could live without; most costing under £10. And some under £5!

MUA Undress Me Too Eye shadow Palette £4.00 Available From Superdrug (BUY HERE)

I have loved this palette for a very long time and the shades within it are absolutely beautiful. It has a good mix of cool and warm shades with shimmer and matte pigments. I love the options that I get from just this one compact. There are 12 shades for you to create a simple everyday look or you can go all out for a date night. They are all quite pigmented too, which is why I absolutely adore this palette.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation £7.99 Available From Boots (BUY HERE)

This is without doubt the best budget foundation on the market right now with its incredible coverage and longevity powers. It’s very easy to apply, and blend, to get a nice, flawless finish to your make-up. I tend to use my Barely Cosmetics makeup sponge to blend it out and the results are just incredible, even on dry skin.

Makeup Revolution Ultra Bronze £3.00 Available From Superdrug (BUY HERE)

I would be so lost without my Ultra Bronze Bronzer from Makeup Revolution. I've used this for months and it's the best I've found for not only warming up my face but also contouring. It’s got the perfect mix of warm and cool tones to shape and define parts of my face for a natural contour that gives that finishing touch to your make-up look. It looks great in photographs too because it’s completely matte.

L’Oreal Nude Magique BB Powder £6.99 Available From Boots (BUY HERE)

Never have I come across such a beautiful and affordable setting powder quite like this one. It’s so finely milled and sets make-up without looking too matte or dry. It doesn't look caked but gives a more satin finish and doesn't feel heavy. It’s such a great compact, and comes with a little mirror for touch ups during the day. I absolutely love this powder, it really does feel more expensive than what it is.
Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner ‘Eastend Snob’ £3.99 Available From Superdrug (BUY HERE)

I’ve gone through quite a few of these liners and I think they are absolutely brilliant. The shade Eastend Snob is my particular favourite because of its colour. It’s a pinky-mauve, perhaps nude shade, which I can pair with so many of my lipsticks. I love that it’s a simple twist up and retractable barrel because it means you don’t have to try and find your sharpener before each use. It looks amazing and helps to cheat a bigger lip shape - which I know everyone is going a little nutty over at the moment. If you are too, I highly recommend you pick this shade up. You won’t regret it!
