What We Say:

This was our first try with a butter gloss. To be honest, we weren't quite sure what to expert as glosses are notoriously sticky and don't often promise to be silky smooth. 

In our opinion the formula is very similar to a lip lacquer, it's rich in colour and texture. The added bonus (for us) is that NYX Butter Gloss has a glossy finish - it doesn't dry to matte. Not that there's anything wrong with a matte colour, in fact we have quite a few but it's nice to 'mix it up' a little.

We were very impressed with the level of pigment in each colour. With their buttery texture they applied perfectly - and there was no gloopy-stickiness what-so-ever. 

The texture is soft, and the product melts to comfortably sit on your lips. It is less oily than a balm, but it still hydrates really well.

The tube is the perfect handbag size, and will fit into pretty much any vanity bag - which is great because we're fed up of extra-long fancy packaging that means we can't squeeze it in to our make-up bags!

The colour stayed put pretty much all day - and the texture looked smooth too. You can apply them over your own lip colour or on their own. The colour range is so lovely we mainly wore them naked.

This product is amazing value for money. They have a fabulous range of colours that are bold, bright and last all day.

We're loving bright and fun glosses at the moment, and this one comes top of our list. Will we be buying it again? We already have!
