Product:

Infallible 24H Foundation £9.99 [BUY HERE]

What They Say:

Introducing Infallible 24H Foundation by L'Oréal Paris. High coverage longwear foundation that hides the appearance of fatigue and blemishes. Now with Hydrating Hyaluron Complex the 24H non-stop formula stays on and feels fresh from day to night.

What We Say:

L'Oreal are known for producing some great quality longwear make-up products, and this one falls straight into that category.

The Infallible foundation offers a medium to full coverage in a soft and moisturising formula. It's been lovingly designed for normal to dry skin, and is one of the comfiest foundations we've experienced (they also do a matte version, if that's more your thing).

The formula is not overly thick, like some hydration products. But instead has a lovely creamy texture. This of course means that it applies well to the skin, it's smooth and doesn't dry before you've finished your application.

In terms of colours, this was a downside to the product, they only do a handful and we struggled with this. Between the team, about half of us had to mix up a colour using two of the foundations, as they were either too dark or too light. For the ones that did find a match straight away life was very easy. But, for those of us who had to get creative, it was a little longer before we could enjoy flawless skin from this foundation.

Although we had to mix up some colours, the product actually mixed very well. As it's also not very expensive, it would still be cheaper to buy two Infallible 24H Foundations than some full priced premium brands!

The foundation finish was a gorgeous satin veil. It really does offer exactly what is suggests, a soft flawless finish. It covers marks and blemishes well, and sets somewhere between dewy and matte, just the right balance in our opinion. It gives a very good medium coverage, that you can build up to full if needed.

In terms of wearability, the foundation did stay put all day. We can't vouch for 24hours, as NO ONE stays up this long, do they? But, for our 12/13 hour days it was perfect.

At the end of the day when we removed this product, our skin still felt soft to the touch.

In A Nutshell:

This product has fast become one of our favourite drug-store buys. It's a wonderful foundation for anyone looking for some moisture and a little more coverage.

It lost a point only down to the lack of variety in its colour range. If it wasn't for this, we'd of given L'Oreal the whole 5 stars.
