We hope you're enjoying these features as much as we are! Today on TLBG, we've been chatting to the very lovely Clair from beauty, lifestyle and DIY blog, All About Clair.
Here's is what's inside Clair's summer make-up bag...
I keep saying it lately but with summer fast approaching,
I've started changing up my daily make up routine to suit the season. I
recently uploaded a post talking about everything I use on my base layer, which
you can find here,
so for this post I'm just going to stick to the fun things; eyes, lips, cheeks
and scent.
EYES
For such a small area, I certainly use a lot of different
products on my eyes! Whenever I’m applying eye shadow I always start with a MAC
Paint Pot in Painterly to prime and ensure the looks stays on for longer.
Then I go onto the actual shadow and my Urban
Decay Naked palette is always my go to choice (although this could change
when Naked Smoky comes out!). I like to sweep Toasted all over the lid, go in
with Naked in the crease and brighten the corners of the eyes with Virgin.
Finally I line my eyes in the outer corners with a Charlotte
Tilbury Rock’N’Kohl Pencil in Barbarella Brown and finish the look off with
my trusty Maybelline
Lash Sensational Mascara.
CHEEKS
If you read my coral edit last
week you’ll know that lately I've been reaching for the MAC blush in Melba for
a summery glow. But I've also recently rediscovered Benefit
Hervana Blush and I must admit that I’ve been using this more lately than
not. I also don’t think you can beat a good high lighter and NARS Multiple in
Copacabana is my first choice for creating an all over radiant glow.
LIPS
In the summer months my lips tend to dry out so I've been
making sure to apply this Burts
Bees lip balm every morning and evening to stop any pesky dry lip situation
occurring. On top of this, I've also been loving the Revlon Ultra
HD Lipsticks lately. They are so pigmented, yet so hydrating and they smell
absolutely gorgeous! My favourites are Hydrangea and Hibiscus.
SCENT
Pretty much all of my everyday fragrances come from the Marc
Jacobs range, I mean what’s not to love? They all smell gorgeous (although the jury’s
still out on Lola for me I'm afraid) and the packaging is to die for. I'm
currently reaching for Daisy
Dream, which has a musky/fruity/floral smell (if that's even a thing!) It
really is perfect for summer and it is certainly taking pride of place within
my day-to-day routine at the moment.
What’s in your summer make up bag?
