What We Say:

This product had our attention long before we got our hands on it. It promises to give your skin a hydrating boost of illumination and to revive tired looking skin. It has lots of brightening and vitamin rich ingredients too, so it gives your complexion a real treat.

The cream is silky and sheer. It’s not a heavy product but it does leave a lovely glow on your skin. The iridescent particles reflect the light beautiful with a soft and subtle luminosity.

We used this as a base, we mixed it with our foundation, and we used it as a highlighter. It worked amazingly every way we used it.

As a base for sheer foundation it gives your skin a softness, and it also allowed the produced to glide across the skin better as it worked so well to hydrate and prepare.

We decided to mix it with MAC’s infamous Studio Fix Fluid - as so many of you have recommended. And boy what a treat! The once matte setting foundation turned into something lovely and dewy. It’s staying powder wasn't at all hindered and our skin looked fresh and awakened. Our skin just looked healthier.

Finally, we used it as a highlighter along the tops of our cheek bones and above our brows. It worked similarly to High Beam from Benefit but without the pink tone (which was a bonus in our eyes). As there is no colour to the product it gives a very natural finish.

The product isn't cheap – and actually costs more than most MAC foundations. But it is true what they say, perfecting your base is the most important part of any make-up application.

We like strobing as much as we like contouring, it's a skill that can really transform your make-up look. This multi-tasking product is a great buy in our eyes. It offers just the round amount of luminosity and we just love it.
