Review: Dandelion Clocks Hand Cream
Product:
Heathcote & Ivory Dandelion Clocks Watercress & Tea Hand Cream - £10.00 (BUY HERE)
What They Say:
Dandelion Clocks is a funky 50s retro pattern designed for Sanderson by Fiona Howard, featuring stylised dandelion heads with seeds radiating from a central point in refreshing aquatic colours. The design achieved record sales and iconic status, leading to an exciting opportunity for a Bath & Body Collection.
Enriched with Shea Butter, Vitamin E, Aloe Extract and Pro Vitamin B5 to moisturise, soothe and soften hands and to help strengthen nails. Delicately fragranced with the elegant scent of classic Tea, fresh Watercress, Mint and Pear on a heart of Rose and White Flowers with a subtle musk base.
What We Say:
Heathcote & Ivory's Dandelion Clocks Hand Cream comes encased in a lovely solid box (none of your flimsy cardboard here!), decorated with the classic Sanderson print. It's easy on the eye, and let's be honest, who doesn't like cutting the seal on a stylishly packaged new product? That's always guaranteed to make us instantly happy.
The hand cream itself comes in a similarly decorated 100ml tube, so it looks great sitting on your desk, on display in the bathroom or wherever else you might wish to store it. There's also the option of buying a box of 3 little 30ml mini-tubes which are the perfect size for popping in your handbag. We already have this set earmarked to split and add to homemade beauty boxes for Christmas/birthday gifts.
The product smells fantastically fresh with notes of mint and pear and is nicely scented, without being overpowering. On application to hands and nails, it absorbs beautifully, giving a welcome cooling sensation. You don't need to use much at all! We've been testing this cream out for over a month now and can testify to its moisturising skills - the selection of natural ingredients used in this product work incredibly well together to soften and nourish dry, weary hands.
In A Nutshell:
For some, £10.00 might be a tad steep for hand cream, but we're talking a 100ml tube and since the product absorbs so well, it's going to last a while.
The delicate scent is a delight, the cream nourishing, and we love the use of the iconic Sanderson print in the packaging.
